Our colleague Víctor Rodríguez-López has received the Talent and Technology Award from Madrid City Council for his PhD Thesis “Perception of static and dynamic blur for developing clinical instrumentation in optometry and ophthalmology” (Carlos III University of Madrid).

The purpose of these awards is to detect talent in technological development in order to promote and strengthen these capabilities among Madrid university students. In this way, advances in technology allow the university to connect with the industry through the application of the results of scientific research, thus activating the transfer of knowledge from the university to society. During the award ceremony that took place at El Retiro Park, they highlighted the importance of these awards to give young researchers recognition and support in their work and future careers.
