
Elena Moreno Rubio, BSc in Physics by the University of Murcia and current MSc student in Optical and Imaging Technologies at the Complutense University of Madrid, is joining VioBio Lab under the “Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento 2022” program (PID2022-139840OA-I00-MYOFLUOGOLD, PI María Viñas). Her work will be focused on the study of the optical cues in myopia development using a polychromatic multichannel Adaptive Optics visual simulator.
We also welcome Diego Dijkstra Martin, BSc in Physics by University of Alicante and current MSc student in Biomedical Physics at the UCM. Diego has previous research experience focused on the characterization of different novel materials for the manufacture of distributed feedback (DFB) lasers at the University of Alicante. He will be working with María Viñas in his Master’s Thesis (TFM) on the development of new multiphoton microscopy techniques for the characterization of ocular tissue.
